TWÓRCZOŚĆ HERTY MÜLLER W POLSKIM ŻYCIU LITERACKIM

Abstract
The article focuses on the problem of the reception and popularization of Herta Müller’s work in Poland compared with these in Germany. Additionally, attention is paid to the worldwide interest given to Müller’s literary output. The development of the text makes use of critical studies, information featured on the Internet, and data made available by various cultural institutions. The analysis highlights both the political and cultural developments which have influenced Müller’s reception and the popularity of her works.
