Una mirada al derecho de acceso a los servicios públicos en tiempos de COVID en Ecuador

Abstract
This work presents an analysis about the rights of access to the different public services for the citizens, in times of the COVID-19 pandemic in Ecuador. This is an essay that critically ponders the problems related to the exercise of the referred right. This work comes from a theoretical analysis, taking into account researchs carried out at a national and an international level. It is found that the Ecuadorian State, in spite of making important decisions to stop the contagion of the virus to reduce the spread of COVID-19 and prevent the death of its citizens, observed in a limited way the respect for the right of access to public services. taking into account that several of the decisions denoted a certain arbitrariness and fragmentation that violates the individual and collective rights of citizens. Hence, it is concluded that the right to access public services in the Ecuadorian context during the COVID-19 pandemic, has been widely violated by the Ecuadorian State.
