Usage of interactive methods in the process of the students’ independent English language proficiency.

Abstract

This article deals with the implementation of interactive methods into arranging independent work of the students while studying the professionally-oriented English language, which were the subject of research by the well-known scientists, such as Y. Polat, I. Zimniaya, V. Levchenko, A. Borisova and so on. They determined the concept and main objectives of the project activity as one of the innovative methods of teaching English. From their point of view the innovative technologies facilitate the development of communicative competences, help to form with the students ability and readiness to manage their independent academic activity. Project technology is an effective way to increase motivation with the students to get professional speaking skills in order to be ready to pass the ICAO level exam perfectly well. As modern aviation specialists have to meet increasing requirements, innovative technologies should become the integral part of the training process. The creative approach to arranging independent work inspires the students to learn how to realize own potential, how to demonstrate own research abilities, creativeness, independence, how to express own opinion, how to get rid of fear while working on the project technology. Innovative technologies are able to widen communicative competences, skills, which are required for effective mastering of the professionally-oriented English language. Besides innovative technologies can make creative personality, who possesses bright creative features, which help to achieve efficient results in variety of creative activities. The concept of game projecting should be based on the materials of real air crashes, which are verified sources of information. The progress of the game includes the development of communicative program on the basis of standard and non- standard situations and their realization. At the phase of practical realization the situations could be played in the class. The result of the role game is resolving the conflict, getting new practical skills, enlarging the outlook, developing imagination and creativity.
