Uszkodzenie kompleksu chrząstki trójkątnej (TFCC) - diagnostyka i rehabilitacja

Abstract
Triangular fibrocartilage complex (TFCC) plays a crucial role in the stabilization of the distal radioulnar joint. Due to its anatomical location and a fundamental participation in rotation movements and load bearing, TFCC is highly susceptible to injuries and the occurrence of degenerative lesions. Diagnostics of defects within the triangular fibrocartilage complex requires a detailed medical history taking and a clinical examination. The classic symptom is pain in the ulnar side around the wrist groove, which may be accompanied by clicking and popping during movement. The selection of treatment methods and physiotherapeutic proceedings depends on the type and the location of the lesion within the complex.
