Ways of word formation of political neologisms in modern English

Abstract
This article deals with the profound study of the ways of forming the neologisms of the political sphere in modern English. The study was conducted on the basis of the modern English language lexicographic sources. The possible ways of forming neologisms are presented and characterized. The main methods of the word–formation of the political neologisms in modern English are shortening, affixation, compounding and conversion.
