Wpływ żywotności śmigłowców na proces decyzyjny pilota.

Abstract
The article features the influence of helicopter survivability in the pilot's decision- making process on air safety and security. Taking this into consideration, a decision-making model is defined which shows what a pilot should take into account while using a helicopter. The model in a decision-making loop contains pilot's personal features including predisposition to reach the highest level of flying. Moreover, the decisionmaking loop defines predicting, guessing by the pilot through correct selection of information, its analysis which, in turn, allows fast and effective actions in case of a failure during a flight. The mentioned above fact correlates with helicopter su-rvivability that has a direct influence on the safety during the flight. The longer helicopter survivability, i.e. resistance to failures, the longer time of pilot's readi¬ness to make a decision. Thus it is justified to consider the issue of the impact of helicopter survivability in the pilot's decision-making process on the flight safety.
