Abstract
The paper contains results of the studies on the species composition and the occurrence frequency of galls on the leaves of Fagus sylvatica L. in the Złoty Potok Forest District (the Katowice Forest Region) in 2014. A total of 844 galls on the 8000 analyzed leaves were found. The galls represented 5 mak- er – species including subspecies: Aceria nervisequa nervisequa (Canestrini, 1891), A. stenaspis plicans (Nalepa, 1891), A. stenaspis stenaspis (Nalepa, 1917), Hartigiola annulipes (Hartig, 1839), Mikiola fagi (Hartig, 1839). The index of occurrence frequency (F) and the Agrell’s index of species co-occurrence (Ag) have been calculated.
