XI World Congress of the International Association of Political Sciences (IAPN) as a forum for political science: the Soviet context

Abstract
Analyzed the value of the XI world Congress of the International political science Association (IPSA) for the development of political science in the USSR, including Ukraine. It is shown that despite the isolation of the Soviet system from the world of the Humanities, the Congress has contributed to increase the prestige of the social Sciences in the USSR. It is from this time began a new stage in the development of political science in the country, although at the official level it has not been recognized.
