Abstract
Chebanova V.P. Is external labor migration a panacea or a disease for the economy? Subject of study. Problems of external labor migration in the context of modern integration processes. In this article, the main problems of labor migrants were considered. It has been established that modern labor migration is one of the most complex subsystems of international economic relations that impacts the world economy in a certain way and is a top priority for many scientists around the globe. It has been determined that lower labor market tension is promoted by creating new jobs by former migrant workers using money earned abroad. Purpose of the study. The main advantages and disadvantages of labor migration for donor countries and recipient countries have been identified. There are next tasks: - analyze the situation in the sphere of labor migration - to highlight the main factors that stimulate the external labor migration of the population and the factors of "attraction" in the recipient countries; - identify the main problems of labor migrants. Methods of research. In the course of the research methods of system analysis, logical generalization, abstract-logical methods were used Results of the work. Labor migration is one of the varieties of migration, which is a combination of population movements with the intention of finding and getting a job. This is a very broad concept. There are different types of labor migration, both temporary and permanent. It is proved that labor migration affects the economy of developed countries. It helps develop social infrastructure and the labor market. At the same time, with a large influx of migrants, in some countries there is unemployment, as competition for jobs increases. Because of the difficulties with work and housing, economic and criminal crimes often begin to occur, as a result, interethnic conflicts that may lead to negative manifestations of migrants may arise. Thus, labor migration has an ambiguous impact on the economies of countries, since there are certain advantages and drawbacks when moving labor resources. Scope of application of the results. The obtained results can be used in the development and implementation of strategic programs to control the migration flow of labor resources for recipient countries and donor countries.
