Journal Title: Shanghai Journal of Preventive Medicine - Year 2023, Vol 35, Issue 2
Abstract
ObjectiveTo explore the risk factors of strokeï¼ and to provide reference for the prevention and health management of stroke.MethodsFrom February 2022 to March 2022ï¼ four community residents over 60 years old with stroke in Shanghai were randomly selected as the case group ï¼n=100ï¼ï¼ and non-stroke residents were selected as the control group ï¼n=100ï¼. The survey was in the form of questionnaires to record and compare the ageï¼ body mass index ï¼BMIï¼ï¼ blood lipidsï¼ blood pressure-related indicatorsï¼ family history of other diseasesï¼ living habitsï¼ mood and sleep conditions of all subjects. The value of predicting the incidence of stroke among the elderly in Shanghai community was analyzed by receiver operating characteristic ï¼ROCï¼ï¼ and the influencing factors of stroke were analyzed by logistic model.ResultsBMIï¼ hypertensionï¼ heart diseaseï¼ diabetesï¼ transient ischemic attack ï¼TIAï¼ï¼ dyslipidemiaï¼ family history of strokeï¼ smokingï¼ lack of exercise or only light physical laborï¼ SBPï¼ DBPï¼ TG levels were significantly higher in the case group ï¼P<0.05ï¼. The level of HDL-C was significantly lower than that in the control group ï¼P<0.05ï¼. BMIï¼ SBPï¼ DBPï¼ TGï¼ HDL-C predicted the incidence of stroke by ROC analysis ï¼P<0.05ï¼. Logistic regression analysis showed that BMIâ¥23.820 kg·m-2ï¼ heart diseaseï¼ diabetesï¼ TIAï¼ dyslipidemiaï¼ family history of strokeï¼ smokingï¼ lack of exercise or only light physical laborï¼ SBPâ¥139.535 mmHgï¼ DBPâ¥89.605 mmHgï¼ TGâ¥1.565 mmol·L-1 and HDL-Câ¤1.105 mmol·L-1 were risk factors for stroke ï¼P<0.05ï¼.ConclusionPhysical health status including blood lipids and blood pressureï¼ family history of certain diseasesï¼ and living habits could be important risk factors for stroke in the elderly in Shanghai community. Preventive intervention measures for the above factors have important clinical significance.
