ADAPTIVE SYSTEM OF ASYNCHRONOUS MOTOR MODES OPERATING

Abstract

Purpose. To investigate the development of a digital control system for an asynchronous motor that fulfills the operating modes specified by the operator with a possible deviation of the rotational speed of no more than 3% and provides a dynamic correction of the asynchronous motor control algorithm that excludes electric and mechanical overloads for typical operating modes. Methodology. Analytical research, analysis, synthesis, experimental research have been used. Findings. Modern automated control systems for asynchronous motors in order to ensure the maximum correspondence of the induction motor operation modes to an operator-specified algorithm use various types of feedback, for example, at the current speed and current in the winding, which makes the "control system-asynchronous motor" complex sufficiently adaptive. Such systems must take into account short-term and smooth changes in shaft load, transition to increased and lower rotational speed, provide controlled start, reverse and re-start. In this case, it is also necessary to monitor the maximum values of the current in the windings for a given type of induction motor. Originality. A method for controlling the performance characteristics of an asynchronous motor, ensuring maximum correspondence of the operating modes to the algorithm specified by the operator, taking into account feedback signals on the rotation frequency and current in the motor winding has been proposed. Practical value. An algorithm for the operation of an asynchronous motor control system using a digital method for synthesizing control signals, taking into account changes in external operating conditions, has been developed. Priorities of mechanical and electrical parameters of the "control system - asynchronous motor" complex have been determined, which allowed achieving a high degree of adaptability. Conclusions. The time for the instantaneous perturbation proposed by the system, for example, the jerk of the load on the shaft of an asynchronous motor, is not more than 10ms, and the relative deviation from the regime set by the operator is less than 1%.
