ANALYSIS OF INFLUENCE OF INTERNAL CONVERTERS NONLINEARITY ON INTELLIGENT CYCLIC ADC PERFORMANCE
Journal Title: Metrology and Measurement Systems - Year 2005, Vol 12, Issue 4
Abstract
The task of the paper is the presentation of a modelling approach to quantitative analysis of the influence of internal converter nonlinearities on the performance of sub-optimal intelligent cyclic A/D converters (IC ADCs) developed and analysed in works [1-5] and others. The results of investigations permit to determine requirements to the analogue elements of IC ADC architecture, first of all to an internal low-bit A/D converter (ADCIn), which is the most crucial for the design and practical implementation of IC ADC.

THE NEW MEASURE OF LOW-FREQUENCY DISTURBANCES IN POWER SYSTEM
The paper presents new approach to voltage disturbances measurement in electric power network. It is assumed that analyzed disturbances are caused by simultaneous amplitude and phase modulation. Analytic signal is used f...
UNCERTAINTY EVALUATION OF THE PROCESSING ALGORITHM OF A TIME-VARIABLE QUANTITIES IN MULTI-CHANNEL MEASUREMENT SYSTEMS
In this paper the application of the generalised law of uncertainty propagation in determining the standard uncertainty of measurement in a multi-channel sampling transducer has been proposed. It has been shown that for...
SPECIFIC MASS FLOW RATE MEASUREMENTS IN A PULSATING FLOW OF GAS
The method of measurement of the specific mass flow rate in a pulsating flow by means of the Constant Temperature Anemometer (CTA) has been described. Special attention has been paid to the probe calibration problem. Dif...
MODEL STUDY ON COMPLEX MODULATION AND DEMODULATION OF POWER NETWORK VOLTAGE SIGNAL LOADED WITH TIME-VARIABLE IMPEDANCE
Variability of power network voltage degrades the quality of power supplied to customers. Several power quality measures connected with voltage variability have been agreed on international scale. However, it turns out t...
A NEW TRANSDUCER OF DOUBLE PROCESSING FOR CAPACITIVE TOMOGRAPHY
The paper presents a new solution of a system for the measurement of small capacities, applied in capacitive tomography. Some known versions of transducers have been discussed. Next, the author has presented his own solu...
