CAPITAL FORMATION, FOREIGN DIRECT INVESTMENT AND ECONOMIC GROWTH OF UKRAINIAN ECONOMY

Abstract
The problems of creating of the fixed capital in Ukrainian economy for 1992–2016 were investigated. The impact assessment of the foreign direct investment on the fixed capital investment was done. Using VAR-modelling variance decomposition of economic growth was done, the share of FDI in explaining economic growth for period of investment boom (2000–2008) and for post crisis period (2009–2016) was estimated. Using data set WGI we estimate the influence of institutional factors on the investment by Granger test.
