COMMUNICATIVE TOLERANCE IN SPEECH OF FUTURE DOCTOR

Abstract

In the article discusses the importance of such professional quality of an aspiring doctors communicative tolerance. The essence of this notion is different aspects of its manifestation in the doctors professional activity have been found out, concluded that the use of complex tools for the purpose of forming the communicative competence of students in medical educational establishments. The process of curing a patient requires a holistic approach which involves considerations beyond treating a disease. It warrants several skills in a doctor along with technical expertise. Studies have shown that good communication skill in aspiring doctors improve patients’ compliance and overall satisfaction. There are certain basic principles of practic- ing good communication. Patient listening, empathy, and paying attention to the verbal and non-verbal components of tolerant communication are the important ones that are frequently neglected. One should be extremely cautious while managing difficult encounters and breaking bad news. Formal training of future doctors in improving communication skills is necessary and has proven to improve overall outcome. Medical students must understand that the patient-doctor communication is a complex interpersonal interaction that requires an understanding of each parties emotional state, that’s why the communication between doctor and patient must be handled with huge care and tolerance. The mutual understanding between the physician and the patient is the result of effective tolerant communication, which ensures the achievement of the main goal of treatment and recovery of the patient. At the heart of medical work a concerted communication. For the future health workers it is important to achieve the vertices of communicative skills, and it helps to motivate the use of perfect technique of professional communication, the focus of which, in our opinion, will meet communicative tolerance. Doctors are not born with excellent communication skills, as they have different innate talents. Instead they can under- stand the theory of good doctor – patient communication, learn and practice these skills, and be capable of modifying their communication style if there is sufficient motivation and incentive for self-awareness and self-monitoring. In this article we came to a conclusion, that the important components of the professional training of medical students is the rational combination of the means of explication of tolerance and the clever and appropriate use of registered com- municative skills, in particular the ability to converse with the patient, overcome psychological barriers, take into account the individual psychological features of the patient during treatment and adequately perceive the scrupulously analysis of all components of its activities.
