EDUCATION OF NATIONAL PATRIOTIC FEELINGS OF SENIOR PRESCHOOL CHILDREN IN THE PROCESS OF STUDYING WITH HOMELAND

Abstract
The article covers the problem of education of national-patriotic feelings in children of the senior preschool age in the process of familiarizing them with their homeland – Mykolaiv. We agree with the opinion of scholars that two main components, the assimilation of the common values and the formation of a sense of love for the Motherland, a value-ori- ented attitude of the individual towards his homeland, are distinguished in the basis of the national-patriotic education of children. The article reveals the essence of the concepts of "patriotism" and "patriotic feelings" (as a reflection of the conscious lean attitude of citizens of Ukraine of any nationality to the state, the native land in which you live), "nation- al-patriotic upbringing of children of the senior preschool age", which is understood as integrative quality of the subject, which involves an emotional and positive attitude towards oneself as a person and to the Motherland, active, responsible, conscious attitude to the needs of his homeland, the desire to master the language as the most important value of the people, the ability to realize themselves as a part of the Ukrainian people, to express themselves and to self-realization in different kinds of activities. The structure of patriotism, the essence of the cognitive-enrichment phase of the experimen- tal methodology, which used such forms and methods of work as classes on fiction, the development of speech, fine art, acquaintance with the environment; polylogues, dialogues, discussions, playing moral and ethical and communicative situations on the plot of a literary work, commented drawing are described. An effective method was the analysis of the content of the artistic form of works, which facilitated the formation of the ability of senior preschool children to under- stand the meaning of the work of art, to react emotionally to it, to express their attitude to the events and behavior of the heroes, as well as to evaluate the meaning of expressive means for the disclosure of the artistic image.
