ESTIMATION OF HEAT PROCESSES IN THE FRICTION CONTACT UNDER ROLLING WITH SLIPPAGE CONDITION

Abstract
The influence of slip velocity at rolling with slippage on the intensity of heat release in the local contact at different modes of lubricating action was examined. Method of estimation of tem-perature resistance of the boundary film of the lubricating material were developed. Efficiency of using different procedures for calculating a temperature increase in the friction contact un-der conditions of dominating elastohydrodynamic and boundary modes of lubricating action was shown. Results of numerical calculation showing the possibilities of the corresponding methods were presented. The regularities of the heat release in the lubricating layer depending on value of slippage in rolling conditions are established.
