FEATURES OF COPING-BEHAVIOR IN WOMEN WITH UTERINE LEIOMYOMAS IN THE POSTOPERATIVE PERIOD

Abstract

This article highlights the features of coping behavior of patients with uterine leiomyomas in the postoperative period. The published data on the psycho-emotional state of women after hysterectomy demonstrate the diversity of these states - on the psychological well-being to profound mental maladjustment. Therefore, further study of psychosomatic status, individual personality characteristics of patients with uterine myoma with various clinical course will optimize the healing process, put the task to develop psychotherapy in order to improve the quality of social integration of women who suffer from this disease. In terms of adaptation to the disease as a threat to the physical, personal and social well-being of the patient starts action to mastering difficult situation - coping mechanisms (or coping mechanisms), determining the success or failure of adaptation. The study and correction coping startegy in particular of a woman with uterine leiomyomas (and possibly groups) can help in the prevention and treatment of disease
