Historical background and the current state of criminal law understanding of the concept of “abuse of official position” by civil servants in Ukraine

Abstract
The article analyzes the historical path and dynamics of changes in the approach of the criminal law understanding of the concept of “abuse of official position”. Characterized by the criminal offense of malpractice. Analyzed various approaches to the interpretation of “abuse of office” depending on the historical periods of development of Ukraine.
