IMPROVED ERGOTIC SYSTEM OF "MAN-MACHINE-ENVIRONMENT" TYPE APPLYING TO A COAL MINE

Abstract

Purpose. Production activity at the coal enterprise in Ukraine takes place in difficult and unstable conditions, one of the most difficult in the world. At the same time, the natural factor in coal mining is the predominant cause of traumatism. Therefore coal mines in Ukraine should be considered from the position of "man-machine-environment", i.e., as ergatic systems of a high level. Methodology. An attempt to present such a representation of mine production facilities from the perspective of the improved human-machine-environment model is presented in the article. According to a uniform methodology a safety assessment was carried out followed by a normalization of the required probabilities of normal or accident-free operation of the enterprise taking into account the actions of the maintenance personnel and the influence of the environment, the main parameters of which are unstable. The scheme of a sequence of events and conditions of a mine that is dangerous on gas or dust is grounded. A methodology for estimating a possible accident rate has been developed, and calculations have been made on this basis in order to ensure the optimal choice of the sequence of actions to prevent it. The proposed methodology makes it possible to increase the safety of mining operations through the optimal location of the material and technical resources available at a particular enterprise. Originality. In the work for the first time proposed an improved model for assessing emergencies and conditions of a mine dangerous for gas or dust based on the statistical uncertainty of situational analysis by the factor "environment" that is typical for coal enterprises that are dangerous for gas and dust, and also inclined to gas dynamic phenomena. Practical value of the results obtained is to increase the reliability of statistical estimates of emergency situations in a coal mine dangerous for gas or dust based on the use of an integrated model based on the positions of parametric statistics. Conclusions. The obtained theoretical calculations which are the basis for the recommendations meet the requirements of the safety data obtained at operating mines of different regions of Ukraine by statistical methods. It was established that a significant increase in the number of service personnel without implementing cardinal measures to restructure the service of assessing the performance of the security system and the introduction of innovative monitoring systems would not lead to a significant improvement in traumatism rates. Therefore, a significant restructuring of the whole operating regime of the coal enterprises is necessary in the instable conditions of the environment in which the work is carried out.
