INCREASE WEAR-RESISTANCE OF MACHINE PARTS BY REPLACING CARBURIZATION WITH CARBO CROME PLATING

Abstract
An experiment was conducted to add chromium powder to the composition of the reaction mixture during cementation. The temperature-time characteristics of the carbo chrome plating process correspond to the standard parameters of cementation. The conducted studies have shown that during carbo chrome plating, increased hardness and wear resistance of the surface layers compared to cemented.
