International legal order: the issue of the definition of legal phenomena (theoretical aspects)

Abstract
The article deals with the theoretical aspects of the key issues of international le- gal order. The author describes the phenomenon of international legal order based on conceptual views of representatives of modern Ukrainian school of international law. The author examines and summarizes the international legal doctrinal views which define and determine the formation of modern international legal order. The author notes that in the science of international law the international legal order stands as one of the major legal categories, which is studied in a large number of works on the theory of international law. The article characterizes the current state of research of this topic from the position of correlation of international law relations, system, struc- tures, models, process and outcome. The author concludes that international legal order, dispute the width of different scientific views, is recognized by researchers as a legal phenomenon; in modern Ukrainian science of international law the international legal order is seen as a phenom- enon that characterizes the state of international relations as ordered; international legal order is connected with other legal categories (especially with international legitimacy and international law); international legal order has properties that characterize it as a legal phenomenon; changes in contemporary international legal relations due to global processes affect the international legal order, which requires its further research.
