Abstract
In article Satybaldiyev A. translational skill is discussed who translated comic stories of the American writer M. Twain into Kazakh language, comparing it to option in Russian. The translator keeping M. Twain's literary style, pays attention to preservation of intonation, a rhythm of the text of the original, and tried to translate easy language mood, psychology of each hero. The article defines the continuity of the linguocultural branch and artistic translation, which can provide comprehensive information about linguistic features, national traditions, way of life and customs, spiritual values of folk culture, which originated at the junction of linguistic and cultural studies subjects.
