Abstract
The article is devoted to the study of the theoretical and legal principles of the formation and implementation of the strategy and tactics of Ukraine’s environmental policy, the search for effective mechanisms and methods for its implementation. The analysis of the status of the legislative regulation of the environmental policy strategy in the program documents on general or individual environmental problems, the rational use of natural resources and the provision of environmental safety is given.
