Miastenia i przełom miasteniczny – wyzwanie dla ZRM?
Journal Title: Rehabilitacja w Praktyce - Year 2018, Vol 1, Issue 1
Abstract
Myasthenia gravis is an autoimmune disease. It is characterised by progressing weakness of the muscles due to the autoimmune damage of synapses connecting the motor nerves with the muscles. Myasthenia gravis is considered as a rare disease since its incidence is from 1 to 9 cases per million people. However, this does not relieve an emergency medical team of providing emergency medical care characterised by high quality and the gradation of priorities regarding a patient with a bout of the illness.
