MILITARY OPERATIONS ON THE TERRITORY OF POLESIA DURING THE FIRST WORLD WAR AND PARTICIPATION OF THE POLISH LEGION IN IT

Abstract
The military operations on the territory of Volyn during the First World War are analyzed. The participation of the Polish Legion in the events on the Southwest Front in 1916 is investigated. The military actions during the Brusilov Offensive on the territory of Volyn are described. The settlements of the studied region, where the War took place, are localized. The personnel, arming and warfare peculiarities against the opposing sides are considered.
