Abstract

Modern methods of teaching cannot do without advanced information technologies. The ways of the implemen- tation of modern information technologies into secondary and higher educational institutions are analyzed in the article. The experiment on the introduction of modern information and pedagogical technologies into a secondary school was conducted; certain results of the research dealing with the use of technical means of education in the educational process of pedagogical universities are described. The history of this issue is analyzed. There were used traditional technical means of education (TME) starting with the mid-20th century, which resulted into a more effective percep- tion of the educational material. Using diaprojection and epiprojection enables the contemplation of various pictures, photos, tables, graphs. With the help of a film projector one could learn a variety of processes in dynamics, which enabled a deeper penetration into the essence of the process. The study of a phenomenon neither happens quickly nor drags. The problem of the TME use while representing educational material is one of the most important factors of teaching methods. Among technical means of education one can distinguish the ones elaborated on the basis of information and computer technologies. The introduction of the technical means of education elaborated on the basis of information and computer technologies into the educational process offers significant opportunities for the reali- zation of the individual approach. The system SMART Board is proved to be one of the newest means of multime- dia technology; its software integrated with the most widespread software allows you to use it for the development of new visual aids and it replaces may substitute all the traditional technical means. Nowadays teachers of all disci- plines acknowledge the high efficiency of the SMART Board (interactive whiteboards) in the education process. The interactive whiteboards SMART Board set in classrooms allow teachers to achieve a better contact with a pupil, to make learning more interesting and individual-oriented.
