MULTICULTURAL EDUCATIONAL ENVIRONMENT AS A PRECONDITION FOR THE SUCCESSFUL FORMATION OF SPEECH ETIQUETTE OF FOREIGN CITIZENS IN HIGHER EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS OF UKRAINE

Abstract
The actual problem characteristics of the organization of the educational environment for productive formation and development of the personality of foreign students in the conditions of modern Ukrainian higher educational institutes is disclosed. It was noticed that the organization of the educational environment in which foreign students study requires a special approach, in particular to observe the principles of multiculturalism. Through the research, principles of multiculturalism as a variety of socio&cultural practices across the national and regional cultures and subcultures of different segments of the population are grounded. Understanding of multicultural environment and a multicultural educational environment is presented. The particular multicultural environment of a higher educational institution is defined as a kind of social environment in which the interaction between members of different socio&cultural groups differ in nationality, ethnicity, religious, ethnic, cultural orientation, physical and mental characteristics. The characteristics of multicultural educational environment of a higher education institution, its functions are highlighted. It revealed one of the most important functions of a multicultural educational environment of a higher educational institution, which is to teach people to live together, to help them transform the existing interdependence of nations and ethnic groups in this solidarity. It is noted that although the concept of «educational environment», describing the configuration of the boundaries within which the educational activity is wider than the «educational environment», which can be considered as the semantic content of educational space, the specifics of their individual characteristics, on the findings of scientists, will be identical. In view of this, it is noticed that fundamentally important role in the creation of a higher education institution of holistic multi&cultural space, based on the principles of humanism, oriented on each subject in the educational process, and which is an important precondition for the formation of speech etiquette. The main principles of multicultural educational environment of the university are outlined. It was noticed that through a unique multicultural environment of the institution, a personality of foreign student as a man of earth, a future specialist is formed, that personality differs from others with his breadth of vision, communicative and tolerant activity and is able to function adequately in a foreign Ukrainian reality. It is also noticed that a multicultural educational environment is a precondition for the successful preparation of foreign citizens in higher education institutions and in particular the formation of their communicative etiquette.
