O znaczeniu mowy egocentrycznej, dialogu i dyskusji w edukacji matematycznej uczniów w młodszym wieku szkolnym

Abstract
On the Significance of Egocentric Speech, Dialogue and Discussion in Mathematical Education of Younger Schoolchildren Verbal speech is conducive to the cognitive development of individuals and influences — in a positive way — the effectiveness of the process of learning. Language makes it possible to feel free while thinking and enables people to generate various ideas, to make hypotheses, or formulate different — even the most fanciful — theories which relate to phenomena examined by them. The considerations which the author makes on the role of speech in the process of learning became the incentive to carry out research among students of pedagogy, whose aim was to establish what views they present concerning the importance of egocentric speech, dialogue and discussion in the mathematical education of children at younger school age. The results of the research and an essay to interpret them constitute the second part of the article.
