Abstract
In the article the analysis of the legal basis of information support of the official activities of the police of Ukraine. Reviewed the content and features of functioning of specialized information systems in policing, as well as the key benefits of implementing modern information technologies in police activity. The author made a conclusion that Ukraine needs to improve interagency information management system in accordance with the requirements of international standards. In the article identifies the main ways of improvement of legal regulation of information security in the National police of Ukraine.
