Professionally-oriented tasks as a method of studying foreign language in longterm protection

Abstract

The article considers the actual problem of professionally-oriented learning of a foreign language in non-language higher educational institutions. The authors determine the main advantages of professionally-oriented tasks, as well as consider the peculiarities of the use of business games, discussions, cases at foreign language lessons for the development of language competencies for students of economic specialties in non-language higher educational institutions. It is substantiated the necessity of creating new educational programs and additional teaching aids with the focus on the cooperation of teachers and students. The authors highlighted the usage peculiarities of a professionally-oriented approach in teaching foreign languages in non-language higher educational institutions, effective language training and formation of professional language competence of students. Also there are examples of professionally-oriented tasks in the article that can be used by foreign language teachers at the lessons with students of economic specialties in the article.
