Journal Title: Альманах міжнародного права - Year 2017, Vol 16, Issue
Abstract
The article analyzes the provisions on the protection of economic competition contained in regional trade agreements (preferential trade agreements). Particular attention is paid to the harmonization of competition legislation caused by the world practice of forming a regional competition policy in many regions. The integration of regional competitive policies into the system of multilateral regulation of international trade was also investigated. Several of the most successful regional trade agreements have been analyzed with respect to provisions for the protection of economic competition that directly or indirectly within a certain region promote competition and prohibit restrictive business practices.
