RESEARCH OF FORCES AND MOMENTS ACTING IN PLANETARIAN VIBRATION EXCITER

Abstract

Purpose. To determine the additional centrifugal forces that occur in poly-frequency planetary vibration exciter after joining the additional imbalances to its rollers, as well as using the rollers of different diameters it is necessary to find the angular velocity of the ring imbalance and rollers, and then on the basis of the Lagrange equations of type II to calculate the main vector and moment of inertia forces. The unbalanced vibration exciters widely used in vibration machines are to have a complex structure to create high frequency oscillations with a significant perturbing force and polyfrequency vibration mode. Existing planetary vibration exciters allow either getting the poly-frequency oscillations, but without creating a powerful disturbing force or vice versa. Methodology. To ensure the poly-frequency oscillations with a significant disturbing force the planetary vibration exciter has been created, its body has a rigidly fixed axis with a ring imbalance. Deep groove ball bearings mounted on the pulley disc and fixed on the eccentric axes enabling the convenient mounting of the ring are in contact with one of the ring imbalance treadmills in the trapezoidal groove. Hav-ing rotated around a fixed axis, the ring imbalance creates a significant driving force while unbalanced rollers of differ-ent diameters are generating poly-frequency vibration mode required for the better sealing of different in weight and sizes particles forming the construction materials. The obtained theoretical expressions allow studying the dynamics of vibrating machines with planetary vibration exciter. Results. Addition of rotations around parallel axes was used to de-termine the angular velocity of the ring imbalance and the relative angular velocity of the rollers. The derivation of the total kinetic energy of the vibration machine was made with further obtaining the main vector and moment of inertia forces which operate in the planetary vibration exciter. Originality. The original design of the planetary vibration exciter, in which the main ring imbalance creates a significant force, was proposed. Two additional unbalanced rollers provide the movement of the ring and create the additional harmonics. In the case of using the rollers of different diameters, the exciter gets poly-frequency. Practical value. The proposed planetary vibration exciter can be used in a vibratory machine of both small and large load-bearing capacity. The use of such vibration exciter allows to significantly simplify the desing of the vibration machine, improve its reliability and reduce the drive power.
