TACTICS OF PICTORIAL VISUALIZATION IN THE GENRE OF UNIVERSITY PROSPECTUS (A CASE STUDY OF PROSPECTUSES OF BRITISH UNIVERSITIES)

Abstract
The article is devoted to the investigation of tactics of pictorial visualization in the genre of university prospectus. The paper analyzes the connection between verbal and nonverbal components. Examples from prospectuses let us examine in detail all the elements in which the tactics of pictorial visualization is revealed and assess the effectiveness of the persuasion of potential applicants. The article identifies the peculiarities of the influence of each element on the sub consciousness of the recipient.
