THE FUNCTIONING OF SEMANTICALLY EXPRESSIVE PROPER NAMES IN THE POLISH XXI CENTURY MEDIA TEXTS

Abstract
This paper deals with the expressive possibilities of the Polish onomasticon in the modern media texts. The object of research is the using of such proper names, which are characterised by expressive capability on the semantic level. This research is aimed at identification the ways of onyms usage with intensification connotation meaning, which are made the semantic expressiveness of onyms. Purpose and specificity of the object identified basic research methods: identification methods for finding the expressive units in the texts, descriptive method for inventory and description of the analyzed units functioning, the method of component analysis to identify components of the connotation elements, the method of contextual analysis to identify the conditions of the onyms functioning in a particular verbal environment and speech situation. The novelty of this research lies in the fact that the question of onyms expressive usage in the current Polish media is analyzed at first within the Ukrainians Polish studies. Practical significance of the obtained results of this research lies in the possibility of using the material in the onomastic lecture courses, as well in the study Polish as a foreign language in Ukraine. The analysis has shown the usage of connotation onyms in the syntactic models and the proper names as the elements of comparative constructions.
