THE INVESTIGATION OF THE ACCURACY OF DETERMINING THE LAND’S BOUNDARIES DURING THE LAND INVENTORY

Abstract
Purpose. To investigation the accuracy of the planimetric position of the landmarks of land parcels to ensure the required accuracy of the definition of their areas within the settlements. Methodology. We have proposed formulas for calculating the area of the land parcels that take into account their size, elongation coefficient and the number of contour points. Based on this, we can set the requirements for cadastral surveys. Results. We have calculated the limiting errors for the determination of the area of variably sized land parcels that have the shape of a square and a rectangle with different elongation. Taking into account the accuracy and density of plane survey, limit errors in the value of the area of the land parcel were established, as well as the required precision of the position of the landmarks. Originality. For the first time, the formulas for calculating the accuracy of the definition of the planimetric position of the landmark of land in the cities of the republican and regional subordination, taking into account the requirements of the current normative documents were proposed. Practical value. The given method can be used in determining the area of land parcel, a size of , which corresponds to the existing rules of free privatization in cities. It is established that for land parcel of 100-1000 sq.m. the value of the error of the position of the landmark must not exceed 1-3 cm, which requires an appropriate increase in the accuracy of geodetic measurements. The proposed limit value for accuracy regarding the determination of the planned position of the landmarks will provide the necessary precision for determining the areas of land parcels during the land inventory the settlements.
