THE PRINCIPLES OF ESTIMATION AND SELECTION OF MEASURES TO PROMOTE THE PROCESSES OF SELF-REGULATION OF DESTABILIZED ECOSYSTEMS

Abstract

Purpose. As applied to ecological systems, the conceptual essence of the concepts "stability" and "destabilization" has been analyzed. Results. It has been emphasized that when solving the problems of nature protection and the implementation of rational nature management, it is necessary to take into account the processes of self-regulation that provide not only stability as such, but also the structural and functional viability and dynamics of the development of ecological systems determined by their evolutionary history. From the system positions, the main principles of the assessment and selection of measures for promoting the processes of self-regulation of ecosystems located at different stages of the destabilization processes have been defined and characterized. Originality. It is the preservation of the natural mechanisms of self-regulation should be the goal of environmental efforts – and at the same time the criterion of their effectiveness in the context of creating an environmentally directed nature management. In turn, this opens up the prospect of using "soft" management of the processes of "eco" ↔ "techno" ↔ "social" interactions to prevent and neutralize negative effects and optimize complex technoecosystems.
