THE YOUTH MIGRATION ISSUES IN THE REPUBLIC OF ARMENIA

Abstract
Globalization and discrepancies in the development of countries contribute to the growth of labor migration. With the introduction of new technologies and increased productivity, labor reserves are created, potentially leading to migration flows. The migration process has rather complex and contradictory consequences. On the one hand, migration processes contribute to the solution of very important economic problems, and the other side leads to the degradation of society. The high rates of migration in Armenia have been maintained for about three decades. Only after the velvet revolution in 2018, a positive shift was observed in the republic. The main reasons of migration the youth note the lack of development prospects in Armenia, obstacles to doing business, an undesirable moral and psychological atmosphere and an unstable geopolitical situation.
