TO THE PROBLEM OF SUPPORTING STABILITY OF DEVELOPMENT WORKINGS

Abstract
Purpose. To determine such ratios of the mine workings width to its height, at which will be provided the necessary stability, low material content, energy intensity, as well as environmental friendliness during the in-seam workings development. Methodology. It has been applied the simulation modeling of the maximum torque stresses and the axial force stresses that arises in the compressible metal support of workings with different sizes at different depths taking into account rock properties, homogeneous rocks and load accommodation by the support immediately after erection. Results. It has been obtained the characteristics of the ratio dependence of the width of the mine working with stable cross-section to its height, depending on the depth and strength of the rocks. It has been made a comparison of the rough sections, as well as the neat workings areas, load bearing abilities and specific quantities of metal of the supports of both cross-section the typical and equivalent ellipsoid-shaped of the same area. Applying ellipsoid-shaped cross-section development working with an area of 20.6 m2 that is constructed instead of the typical arcwall cross-section of the same area in rocks with f = 2 and the average unit specific gravity of 1950 kg / m3 at a depth of 1000 meters, with frame pitch of 0,5 meters, reduces significantly the load per one support frame and reduces metal consumption by 3.6 times and increases drifters productivity per shift in cubic meters of constructed development working inside timbers of more than 1.34 times. The necessary researches have been formulated to substantiate the process flow diagram of in-seam development workings construction of this form and them explosion safety. Originality. For the first time applied the term of the equivalent cross-section for making comparison of the rough sections, as well as the neat workings areas, and the total metal consumption for the compressed frame support erection. Practical value. It has been proposed the compressed frame support construction, for the manufacture of which industrially metal support is enough. The schemes of transport equipment arrangement in development working of ellipsoid shape have been developed. References 11, tables 2, figures 2.
