Abstract
The article is devoted to determining the content of typical investigative situations during the investigation of crimes related to human immunodeficiency virus infection or other incurable infectious disease or venereal disease at the pre-trial stage. The author researched the theoretical and legal essence of the notion «investigative situation» and determined the most typical in the framework of investigation of crimes related to human immunodeficiency virus infection or other incurable infectious disease or venereal disease. He also provided scientifically substantiated recommendations on the algorithm of the investigator’s actions during the occurrence of these typical situations.
